And we are truly delighted to welcome a delegation from our partners at the South African Association of Ship Operators and Agents (SAASOA) for this occasion, thank you Malte Kersten. Furthermore, for the first time in the 75-year history of the Eisbeinessen, an official Eisbeinessen will be held in the partner country, namely in Durban, at the same time as the dinner in Hamburg. Damit wird Südafrika in diesem Jahr nicht nur die G-20-Präsidentschaft innehaben, sondern auch Partnerland des 75. EISBEINESSENS werden - als erstes afrikanisches Land überhaupt. Mit der Nominierung Südafrikas sollen nicht nur die besonders engen Beziehungen zwischen den deutschen Häfen und dem Land verdeutlicht werden, sondern auch auf die gestiegene Bedeutung der afrikanischen Volkswirtschaften im Allgemeinen hingewiesen werden.
